Medium oil alkyd resins are based on semi-drying oils. Its applications can be used in the manufacture of car repair paint, corrosion protection coatings and etc. The properties of mentioned resin is between Long Oil and Short Oil resins and its oil content is 40 to 55% which can be dissolved in aliphatic solvent or in a mixture of aromatic and aliphatic solvents.
